Working with Balfour Beatty plc on the SCAPE Framework to deliver the earthworks, work is progressing well with a cut & fill balance of 90,000m3 and the civil engineering package, including 14.5km of drainage across 3.5km of new road on behalf of St Helens Council.
This will provide enhanced access between the M6 and the new Parkside development, diverting goods traffic away from the A49 and residential areas, improving connectivity for commuters and helping to mitigate local environmental concerns.
