The A5063 Trafford Road improvements scheme includes a package of measures to support access to MediaCityUK, Salford Quays and Ordsall. The package includes optimisation of the traffic signals, provision of additional traffic lanes to assist turning traffic, and improved facilities for pedestrians and cyclists.
The key scheme objectives are to improve junction capacity to enable continued growth across Salford Quays, and to improve pedestrian and cycling links both along and across the corridor to improve social connectivity to the Ordsall Community and beyond.
