Senior Quantity Surveyor (Senior QS) – Penrith

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a long-term site-based project. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional to take a leading role in delivering high-quality works within a structured and forward-thinking environment.

Location: Site Based – Penrith
Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Duration: Long Term Works

As Senior QS, you will act as the Commercial Lead on site, taking full responsibility for the commercial management of the project. You will oversee day-to-day commercial operations, ensuring financial control, contractual compliance, and effective cost management throughout the lifecycle of the works.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role
  • Strong experience acting in a Senior QS or Commercial Lead capacity
  • Excellent knowledge and practical experience of NEC Contracts
  • Proven track record managing subcontract packages and commercial reporting
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently on a site-based project
